Ally Cares shortlisted for HTN Now Awards AI Solution of the Year

Ally Cares has been shortlisted for AI Solution of the Year at the HTN Now Awards 2025–26, recognising the application of artificial intelligence to improve care delivery and outcomes across health and social care.

The HTN Now Awards celebrate health technology innovators, care teams and suppliers whose solutions are being used in practice to address real challenges across the sector. The awards provide a platform to share examples of innovation, collaboration and implementation that are shaping future services and systems in health and care.

The shortlisting acknowledges Ally Cares’ work in supporting changes to night-time care practice in residential and nursing homes, an area increasingly recognised as critical to safety, wellbeing and system sustainability.

Recognising a shift in night-time care practice

Night-time care has traditionally relied on routine checks and reactive tools, often resulting in disruption for residents and limited visibility for care teams. In recent years, providers have begun to explore alternative approaches that aim to balance safety with rest, dignity and more targeted intervention.

The HTN Now Awards assess not only technical capability, but how technology is applied in real-world settings. Ally Cares’ submission focused on how data-led monitoring can support earlier identification of concern, reduce unnecessary night-time disruption, and provide clearer insight to inform decision-making by care teams.

Evidence submitted from care homes and system-level pilots demonstrated how changes to night-time oversight can contribute to calmer environments, reduced risk and closer alignment with wider priorities such as prevention, recovery and avoidance of unplanned hospital admissions.

Alignment with wider sector priorities

The shortlisting also reflects growing national attention on the relationship between sleep, safety and health outcomes in care settings. Improved night-time practice is increasingly viewed as a factor in reducing falls, supporting recovery, and maintaining stability for residents with complex needs.

Through its work with care providers and as a research partner to Care England on The Sleep Gap report, Ally Cares has contributed to wider sector discussion and industry recognition on how night-time care models can better support residents while enabling staff to work more effectively.

“This recognition reflects the way care teams are rethinking night-time practice and the role technology can play in supporting that change. Being shortlisted highlights the importance of approaches that protect rest, support earlier intervention and provide staff with clearer information to guide decisions overnight.” Tom Tredinnick, CEO & Co-Founder, Ally Cares

The HTN Now Awards 2025–26 digital ceremony will take place on 27 January 2026, bringing together organisations and teams working to advance the effective use of technology across health and care. See more detail on Ally Cares’ awards and wider industry recognition.
