Ally Cares Named Finalist for Tech Innovation of the Year at the 2025 National Care Awards

Behind every stat, there’s a resident sleeping more peacefully, a carer working with greater confidence, or a family feeling reassured. We’re proud to be named a finalist for Tech Innovation of the Year at the National Care Awards 2025—because this isn’t just about innovation. It’s about better lives, calmer nights, and care that works smarter for everyone.

This prestigious award recognises technologies that have significantly improved care home operations and the delivery of care. Being named a finalist is a testament to the real-world impact of Ally’s resident monitoring technology, and the homes and partners that make it possible.

Ally was created to transform night-time care. By using AI acoustic monitoring, our system detects when residents are awake, calling out, distressed, or unusually restless—without needing to disturb them unnecessarily. This means safer nights, stronger outcomes, and more confident care teams.

Across the UK, homes using Ally have:

  • Reduced falls by up to 63%
  • Improved sleep by 61%
  • Cut hospital admissions by 50%
  • Saved hundreds of staff hours each month
  • Enabled longer stays and better care continuity

“We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as a finalist for Tech Innovation of the Year. Ally exists to support the people who care—staff, families, and most importantly, residents.

This shortlisting is a reflection of the work we’ve done together with care homes across the UK who are pioneering a better way to deliver care—one that protects sleep, prevents harm, and builds trust through insight. A huge thank you to every provider, partner, and team member who’s helped bring Ally’s vision to life.”

This recognition follows a year of rapid growth, measurable outcomes, and partnerships with some of the most forward-thinking care providers in the sector. From dementia care to complex neurological needs, Ally is supporting safer, calmer nights for thousands of residents.

Congratulations and good luck to all the other incredible finalists and thank you to the National Care Awards for recognising the role of technology in transforming care.  The winner will be announced at the National Care Awards on 7th November 2025
